this had a gripping story and really lovely cgs! adorable characters, beautiful fantasy forest setting, coming of age stuff, tender emotions. oh, my heart. i did not really know what i was in for when i started but im really glad i read it.
The short description says everything you need to know. This is one of those reads best experienced when you know the least you can... Which makes it difficult writing a spoiler-free review, but I will try to since it was so entertaining!
The setup is wonderful, with an almost childlike wonder. It displays the chemistry between the main characters really well, they are very cute by themselves and especially when interacting together. Their designs are cute, and the CGs are just magical. You can see the girls grow closer together, and it is organic: it makes sense and they mesh well, due to their circumstances and their complementary personalities.
Every single scene in the beginning is important in the latter parts. The VN is at its strongest when it's working in contrasts. Let the narrative take you on its adventure, it will be worth every second of your time.
